Strengthening of People and Process in the 8 6-
Months?
The completion of SI No. 3 to SI No. 8, allowed the DIC
to continue operationalization of these SIs. This has
resulted in an environment of continuous
improvement and streamlining of the DIC’s operational
processes with the aim of enhancing protection and
institutional strengthening.
Key Operationalization Activities
• Continued collaboration with financial safety net
participants;
• Regular tri-monthly posts on social and
traditional media contributed to continued
positive feedback from our public awareness
and educational deposit insurance
programmes;
• Building staff capacity with training sessions in
key aspects of deposit insurance, cyber security
and job-related administrative functions; and
• Simulation, simulation, simulation to increase
our levels of preparedness and the reviewing
and updating of the applicable procedures.
