Highlights of our Main Achievements
The level of implementation of the Plan has resulted in
the active projects over this six-month period being
concentrated on the legislative amendments and
stakeholder engagement.

Aligning its presence with international standards
for deposit insurers
Legislative amendments are moving steadily. The DIC
is awaiting comments on the proposed legislative
amendments from its regulatory stakeholders, after
which the document will be available for comment
from the member institutions.

Engagement of Stakeholders
An independent survey conducted at the end of 2021
has indicated that the DIC’s public awareness
campaign reported an increase from 9% to 18% in the
public’s knowledge of the DIC and 12% to 25% in the
awareness of deposit insurance.
