February 12, 2026: The DIC Staff once again joined members of the Fondes Amandes Community Reforestation Project (FACRP), a Non-Profit Organization located in St. Ann’s, to participate in their forest restoration programme.

Staff cleaned, re-potted and re-soiled plants in the organic nursery.  They also received training in soil mixing, including the application of organic matter and nutrients to the soil to ensure optiomal growth.

It was a “hands-on” experience in the care & treatment of plants in the initial life stages, and nursey management.

June 28, 2018: The DIC recognises that the well-being of the nation’s environment depends on the responsible management of the country’s natural resources; and so we took positive action and joined Members of the Fondes Amandes Community Reforestation Project in their continued effort to protect the natural surroundings.
